Hyannis, MA and Syndey — May 2, 2018 — BackOffice Associates, a worldwide leader in information governance and data stewardship solutions, has announced a new customer agreement with Endeavour Energy to perform data remediation and migration services as part of the company’s technology transformation. Endeavor Energy is currently modernising its business systems and moving to an integrated SAP® solution to replace Ellipse, Banner and MBS.
Chief Information Officer Andrew Bettenay said BackOffice Associates was selected due to its experience working with SAP solutions and a track record of delivering similar projects on time and on budget as part of other transformation projects.
“Endeavour Energy’s technology transformation is an important step towards becoming a world-class utility that delivers better outcomes for our customers and staff. This includes an enterprise-wide refresh of our business platform, streamlining and integrating applications, field mobility solutions and customer and employee self- service facilities and enhancing our asset condition data,” said Bettenay.
BackOffice Associates began with an initial data assessment of Endeavour Energy’s data assets, providing data remediation and migration recommendations for the energy supplier’s proposed SAP applications landscape.
“Our role as a specialised data provider is to first de-risk data from the critical path and turn that into a strategic asset for the company.” said Krish Datta, CEO at BackOffice Associates Asia Pacific Japan. “This is a significant relationship for BackOffice Associates—we’ve shown the Endeavour Energy team our deep understanding of their data as well as our proven value and record for delivery. We will bring more than 20 years of experience with other utilities customers, as well as specialised expertise and intellectual property to ensure a successful outcome.”
