Jakarta — July 31, 2017 - BackOffice Associates, a leader in information governance and data stewardship solutions worldwide, today announced that it has been selected to enhance master data management and business process automation at PT SMART Tbk (SMART).
BackOffice Associates will handle various data management requirements for SMART, including combining financial, customer, vendor and inventory data into a single platform that will allow faster, more transparent and integrated data processing for SMART’s businesses. Over the next 15 months, BackOffice Associates will assess and harmonize SMART’s data reporting needs to support the company’s growth.
As part of the program, SMART will use BackOffice Associates’ Data Stewardship Platform (DSP®) and the SAP® Master Data Governance application to manage its sophisticated data requirements. In April 2017, BOA launched the DSP® in Indonesia and SMART is the first company in Indonesia to implement the platform for its upstream and downstream businesses.
